Questions about the pilot
Is joining free?
Yes. Perkr will be free for drivers and businesses during the pilot.
Which driver platforms are supported?
We welcome drivers from Uber, Uber Eats, DoorDash, Menulog, DiDi, Amazon Flex, Airtasker and other gig platforms. Support does not imply platform partnership or endorsement.
Do drivers need to be verified?
For now, we only ask for basic details. We’ll verify drivers before the live pilot begins.
What types of businesses can participate?
Any local business that can offer useful deals to drivers can apply, including cafés, restaurants, fuel stations, car washes, mechanics, tyre shops, gyms, insurers and accountants.
Do businesses need POS integration?
No. Redemption is designed to work with simple QR codes that you can display on a device or print.
How will QR redemption work?
Your business will present a Perkr QR code, and drivers will scan it in the app to confirm the deal. We’ll also provide printed materials and staff instructions for the pilot.
When will the pilot launch?
We haven’t set a launch date yet. We’ll begin in Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula and email waitlist members with timing updates.
Which locations are included?
The initial pilot covers Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula and nearby parts of Victoria. We may expand based on waitlist demand.
Can businesses change their deal later?
Yes. Joining the waitlist does not commit you to an offer. Selected businesses will confirm their deals before we publish them.
